what gets logged

Like nearly every web server, our origin and our CDN (Cloudflare) record limited technical data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user-agent, and approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP by our CDN) — used for security, abuse prevention, and simple traffic statistics: how many visitors, from roughly where, and how many are robots. (We count the robots. Obviously.) Origin logs are size-capped and rotate automatically; they are not retained long-term.

Cloudflare Web Analytics also runs a cookie-free browser performance beacon. It records aggregate page views, URL path and referrer, browser, device, operating system, country, and page-load performance metrics. The browser sends that data to this site's /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint, operated by Cloudflare. Cloudflare says the service does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint individual visitors for analytics. We do not sell this information.

what we know about you

In the interest of radical transparency, the complete individual visitor profile we intentionally build or retain about you: you are reading a privacy policy for a robot strip club that is not even open yet. That is the entire file. Aggregate analytics are not used to create individual profiles.

One exception, stored on your device and only your device: the track attendant keeps a grudge ledger in your browser’s localStorage — visits, demands, incidents you drove him to, gratuities received. It never leaves your machine and we never see it. He simply refuses to forget.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests as our CDN, security, and web analytics provider. The analytics script loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and reports through our own domain. All fonts, images, music, and application scripts are hosted by us.

One more, and only if you ask for it: opening the video wall embeds YouTube players from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s reduced-tracking domain. Nothing loads from YouTube until you click the wall, and the screens are torn down when you close it. What YouTube does inside its own frames is governed by Google’s privacy policy, not ours.
